Project Architect

LSW Architects is currently seeking a Project Architect who is available to work out of either our Bigfork, Montana or Vancouver, Washington office. Candidate should have 6-10 years of mixed-use/multi-family housing experience with a portfolio of projects that showcase creativity and commitment to design excellence. This role offers the right candidate an opportunity to design bold, community-enriching projects that will have a lasting impact on the people living in and around each one. What You'll Bring

Qualifications

  • A professional degree in architecture from an accredited university or college
  • 6 to 10 years of professional direct design experience
  • Experienced in all phases of project design, including construction documentation production and construction administration
  • Strong understanding of building and accessibility codes, specifications, materials, building and engineering systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in code research and feasibility assessments
  • Strong mixed-use/multi-family housing experience
  • Committed to design excellence
  • Passion for pursuing creative design solutions with unique budget and site constraints
  • Strong understanding of building components and detailing
  • Familiar with project management processes
  • Proficient in all aspects of Revit with advanced modeling capabilities
  • Ability to direct or coordinate work efforts of less experienced staff 
  • Able to fully coordinate with consultants and teammates
  • Strong desire to mentor and grow others, including emerging team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and confidence to manage large and small client relationships with a high level of customer service focus
  • Interest in client relationship management and business development
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • Licensure preferred
