Overview

LSW teamed with Robertson Engineering on the Camas High School Fieldhouse, a multi-use training hub that serves Camas High School’s growing baseball and softball programs. Covered by the District’s 2016 bond that was passed to provide updates to this rapidly-growing district’s facilities, the project included a cost efficient, pre-engineered metal building that acts as an indoor practice facility.

Design

With batting cages and flexible field configurations, Camas Fieldhouse is intended to be a year-round, cross training option for athletes that prevents overflow issues during rainy days. In addition, the facility also serves the school’s track and athletics needs, PE and fitness classes, and remains open to the community for general use. Speaking more broadly, the project also fits in with a larger build-out that included resurfacing the varsity softball and baseball fields and bleachers, tennis courts, and track and field facilities at  the school.
