Project Manager
LSW Architects is currently seeking a Project Manager with 8-15 years of experience and a resume of projects that clearly demonstrate your ability to effectively manage teams, communicate clearly and deliver excellent work on time and within budget in support of an array of public and private owners. This is a critical that will be instrumental in helping lead a team of passionate architects, designers and creatives who thrive on serving the community through innovative design solutions. What You'll Bring
- A professional degree in Architecture
- 8 to 15 years of professional experience
- Experience in all phases of project design, including construction documentation production and construction administration
- Strong understanding of building and accessibility codes, specifications, materials, building and engineering systems
- Multi-family housing/mixed-use experience preferred
- Committed to design excellence
- Strong understanding and comprehension of building components and detailing
- Understanding of project management processes
- Ability to open and navigate a Revit model to interpret and review drawings and project progress
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining and expanding design software skills, including Revit, while remaining proficiency to work within drawings (draw), if required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain a world-class client experience through front stage relationship management skills and backstage technical project expertise
- Demonstrated ability to prepare strategic plans and approaches for project success based on individual client and project demands
- Highly proficient in managing client budgets, schedules, and programs
- Ability to direct or coordinate work efforts of less experienced staff
- Strong desire to mentor and grow others, especially in technical design skills development, project approach methodologies, client relationship manager, and project management
- Collaborative and professional work ethic
- Ability to proactively problem-solve and constantly seek continuous improvement opportunities for project approach and design in ways that materially benefit the client and individual projects
- Ability to think creatively and efficiently in resource-constrained environments
- Familiarity with scheduling and project management software
- Licensure preferred
